At Ecumen Sand Prairie, we offer residents a variety of options to create "home" as unique as you are.  Features include:

• One- and two-bedroom floor plans, with kitchen, living room, private bath with walk-in shower, ample closet space, telephone hook-ups, all utilities and basic cable television. 
• Housekeeping and laundry services weekly. 
• All utilities -- heat, water, electric, air conditioning, basic cable TV and trash pick-up. 
• One, two or three home-cooked meals and snacks daily in our cozy dining room. 
• Enriching and engaging exercise programs, Wii fitness, social activities, and entertainment and educational programs.

• A beauty/barber shop. 
• 24-hour emergency call service, and staff on-site around the clock. 
• Our grand fireplace room, offering a cozy atmosphere excellent for socializing or just relaxing. 

Wellness Coordination & Companion Services

Our Goal:  To help older adults and their families navigate life's path to greater peace of mind while remaining in the home of their choice. 

Through our Wellness Coordination & Companion Services, Ecumen Sand Prairie supports independence through help with:

• Medical appointment coordination
• Transportation and/or accompanying clients to appointments
• Advocacy
• Assistance with Health Care Directives and other medical-related paperwork
• Relocation counseling and assistance

Appointment Companions provide door-to-door transportation and escort to all types of appointments, including medical, dental, chiropractic, etc.  Your Appointment Companion will also serve as an advocate to help communicate and process information gathered at the appointment. You can even rely on your Appointment Companion to help with miscellaneous shopping, other errands and social outings. 

The Wellness Coordinator is available to assist clients in obtaining information about specific senior services and living options; after which services can also be arranged and coordinated, as needed.

Transportation & Escort Service

New service available to the St. Peter area community! 

Whether you need to visit the eye doctor or make a trip to the grocery store, our Transportation & Escort Service can get you there.  You can feel secure knowing you'll be accompanied by one of our Appointment Companions who will provide door-to-door service to all kinds of appointments and errands.  For more information or to schedule a ride, call us at 507-931-4375.
